PROCEDURE

Initial Consultation and ongoing Psychotherapy The first appointment is via telephone for about ten minutes and it is an opportunity for me to learn about you and your needs, and for you to experience what it is like to work with me. The total duration of therapy is determined together, through ongoing discussion and review. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and work with my clients to set goals and develop an effective treatment plan. Each session is 60 minutes in length. Fees Please note that my practice is private and the services are not covered by the health insurance; therefore, the clients are solely responsible for the costs. This is of benefit to the clients since the diagnosis will not impact the KV (German public health insurance): none of the diagnosis (mental disorder) will be reported to the KV, consequently, there won’t be any waiting or refusal of the KV admission or change when switching over to a private KV. Also, there is no waiting or rejection when taking out additional insurance (occupational disability).

Cancelled or Missed Appointments

Clients will assume responsibility for the full fee of an appointment that is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
